
The Bear River Regional Access and Mobility Council is asking Box Elder County residents to share their transportation experiences. They plan to use the data to help improve transportation in our communities. Respondents can be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card.

Ophir Creek will be there to entertain everyone while they eat and enjoy one another's company.


Mantua Reservoir will be closed to the public all day Tuesday, July 30, while crews apply a treatment for the algal bloom. This includes the beaches, dock, and ramp. The reservoir will re-open Wednesday morning.

The swimming pool will be closed today, Wednesday, July 17, due to an unexpected mechanical repair. Escape the heat by visiting the museum, the library, or the splash pad, all of which are free.

Brigham City is selling the contents of the building located at 1145 W. Forest Street to the highest bidder. The building will be open 10am-noon on July 8 for the public to view and sealed bids are due at noon. See https://www.bcutah.gov/events?id=29719378 for more information.

Fire restrictions are now in effect for the areas in red. This means no fireworks, no open flames, and no grinding or other activities that could cause sparks. Restrictions remain in effect until removed by the Fire Chief sometime this fall.

Brigham City would like the community to be aware that the road on 400 South from 800 W to 1200 W will be closed today, June 24 through June 26 for the installation of a water main from 6:00a.m. - 6:00p.m each day.
