Tomorrow is the ribbon cutting for the new overpass! Meet us on the bridge at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, for a short program, watch them cut the ribbon, and enjoy light refreshments. Parking is available in the lot near the swimming pool.

We know this may be confusing as other state and local agencies celebrated the holiday on Monday. Brigham City Council has opted to honor the holiday on the given day, which is June 19.

You may see AirLife flying around and landing in west Brigham City tomorrow (Wednesday, May 20), but there is no cause for alarm. Vulcraft is having a training with their EMT team and AirLife early in the afternoon for a couple hours.

Memorial Day Preparations at Brigham City Cemetery:

Cemetery crews have begun Memorial Day preparations. Ongoing work includes mowing, trimming and weeding. Please refrain from decorating until Friday, May 22, 2026 as this will assist in the preparation work to be done.

The cemetery office will be open on Memorial Day, May 25, from 9:00am to 1:00pm to assist the community in grave location only. Due to heavy office traffic on these days, Cemetery staff will not be able to assist in family genealogy.

Cemetery regulations require that all flowers, real or artificial, must be placed in a container attached to the monument. Flowers in movable containers must be placed on the headstone or base to ensure easy access for grass cutting. PLANTING OR DIGGING FLOWERS IN THE LAWN IS NOT PERMITTED.

For safety reasons, glass containers, wires, irons, sticks or pegs driven in the ground are not permitted and will be immediately removed.
