Calling all Teens! 12-18 Years old our All Sports Pickleball event is this week! Come down to the Pickleball Courts and play for only $5. Pickleball not your thing? Sign up for Dodgeball, Kickball, or Grass Volleyball still only $5 per sport. Grab your friends and come hang out with us this summer! 💚👪 MONDAY NIGHT FAMILY NIGHT 👪💚 Today is our regularly scheduled Family Night! On Mondays from 5pm-8pm, families living in the same household can swim for $30 or $5 per person, whichever is less.

Construction on the Forest Street overpass will affect access to Pioneer Park for Fourth of July activities. Traffic patterns will also be impacted after fireworks in the evening. See below for maps and information, and plan ahead!

Access to the park:
Due to overpass construction, there will be NO access to vehicles or pedestrians traveling east on Forest Street. Parking will be available at the swimming pool through the east entrance only. Parking is also available in the lot north of the pond. The parking lot at the pickleball courts will be closed all day.

NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED ON AMERICAN WAY and there will be NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ACROSS THE TRACKS or in any part of the work zone.

After the fireworks:
Vehicles exiting the Pioneer Park lot north entrance will be required to turn left onto 600 West. Vehicles existing the south entrance will be required to go straight onto 100 North or turn right onto 600 West and then turn left onto Forest Street. They will not be allowed to cross Forest Street.

Vehicles exiting the pool parking lot will be required to turn left. They will be able to turn right onto 600 West or continue straight on Forest Street. They will not be allowed to make a left turn onto 600 West.

Those traveling north on 600 West will not be allowed to cross Forest Street. They will need to turn right at that intersection.

Plan ahead and have a happy and safe Fourth of July!

$15 per player, teams preferred but singles can be added to an existing team.

City offices will be closed Friday, July 4, for Independence Day. If your regular garbage pickup day is Friday, it will be delayed until Monday. Call Public Works at 435-734-6615 with any questions.

You may have heard about some changes to the Animal Shelter's service area. Effective July 1, we are no longer accepting stray animals found outside Brigham City limits or owner-surrendered pets from non-Brigham City residents. This change will allow us to better focus our limited resources (and unlimited dedication) toward fully serving the residents of Brigham City without any interruption or reduction in services.

If you are not a Brigham City resident and you need assistance with a stray or need to surrender an animal, please reach out to your local government or another nearby animal rescue organization.

New this year... Brigham City Coloring Contest! See https://5il.co/3jpi6 for the coloring sheet, instructions, and rules. The contest is open to Brigham City residents ages 4-18. Entries must be received at City Hall by Friday, August 1.

Summer is here and the solicitors are out! Remember that all solicitors in Brigham City MUST be licensed and wear their City-issued badge at all times. The badge verifies that the company is licensed and that the solicitor has completed a background check. Badges expire at the end of each calendar year. You can always see a list of currently licensed solicitors on our website at https://www.bcutah.gov/o/brighamcity/page/solicitor-licenses If a solicitor does not have a badge, we encourage you to report it to non-emergency dispatch at 435-723-5227. It will be helpful to give a description of the individual (including clothing) and the direction they were heading if known.

Fire restrictions are in place beginning July 1! This means no fires, fireworks, grinding metal, or anything that can create sparks in the restricted areas. Morning lap swim is back! Come swim from 7:15-8:15am Monday-Thursday starting on July 7th. $24 for a 2 week session, or $6 to drop in for the day. See you there!

July 1st- Courts #1-#8- Closed from 6:00AM-12:00PM July 2nd- Courts #9-#22, Championship Court close 6:00AM-12:00PM **Note- This will move our Pickleball Club around as well so please check Signage at the courts to see what is closed to accommodate that program. July 4th- All Courts and the Parking lot are closed for EMS and Firework Safety zone. All cars will need to be removed from the parking lot no later 10:30 PM on July 3rd.
