BRIGHAM CITY POOL: Swim Lesson registration is still down until the Sportsman Software outage is resolved. We do NOT have access to register internally the office or over the phone as the outage affects all aspects of the software. We will announce when the Sportsman Software outage is resolved and registration opens. There is not currently an estimated resolution date and could take several days.

Early registration for our summer sports programs was scheduled to end today, BUT our registration software has been down for a couple days now. So we'll be extending that deadline into next week.

The decking is going on the overpass! Mayor Bott visited the project this week along with the city administrator and assistant city administrator. You can check for the latest updates and see a live stream of the construction at https://www.bcutah.gov/o/brighamcity/page/overpass.
CORRECTION: City offices are closing at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and will remain closed for New Years Day.

UPDATE 10:15 AM: Power has been restored to the majority of customers, but crews will need to replace the power pole before being able to restore power to everyone else. That will take most of the day. We estimate power will be restored to everyone by 5:30 PM.
Power is out on the southwest area of town due to a power pole being hit by a car on 1100 South. Power should be restored for most affected customers in 1.5 to 2 hours. Updates will be posted as they are available.

Brigham City Public Works would like the community to be aware that the road on Highland Blvd from Aspen to Sunset will be closed today for a water service repair until approximately 5pm.
If the snow ever decides to fall this year, we'll need some help keeping the fire hydrants clear. Several communities do an Adopt-a-Hydrant program, and while we don't necessarily want to do a formal adoption process, Fire Marshal Alec Hansel invites residents to post photos and videos of cleared hydrants near their homes or businesses using the hashtag #BrighamHydrant
