There will be no changes applied to Brigham City’s existing fireworks-restricted areas as indicated on the map.
No fireworks are permitted in restricted areas, which are the same areas that are restricted every year. A map is available on our website at https://www.bcutah.gov/o/brighamcity/page/fire-restrictions.
Brigham City Fire Chief Brandon Thueson stressed that individuals need to consider the use of fireworks carefully. "Everyone is personally responsible for their actions, and we encourage each person to make the best decision they can regarding firework use this year," he said. The Fire Department will have extra personnel on hand during the days and times that fireworks are allowed.
Personal fireworks can be discharged between the hours of 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. July 2–5 and again July 22–25. The time is extended to midnight on the 4th and 24th.
