road work sign and barricades stacked together

Paving work began on Main Street last night (Sunday, June 15).

UDOT says, "Nightly work will continue through Thursday morning, June 18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews will begin with the northbound outside lanes, then move to southbound inside lanes in a racetrack pattern. After finishing the outside lanes, work will shift to the inside lanes and median.

"Drivers should expect lane shifts, temporary closures, and minor delays. Nearby residents may notice nighttime noise and vibrations.

"After paving Main Street, crews will begin work on the west leg of SR-13 between Main Street and I-15."

Nearby residents may hear construction-related noise and vibration.

Portions of the project already completed include the ADA ramps, lowering utility access points, and edge milling. After the paving portion is complete, crews will raise the utility access points. The final step will be new striping.

Residents with questions about the project should reach out to UDOT at 800-292-3557 or sr13paving@utah.gov.
