Brigham City provides water, sewer, electricity, and garbage pickup to our residents. We do not provide cable, gas, internet, or telephone.
Brigham City requires a signature on all requests for new service. You will be asked for identification, your social security number, and your telephone number. We will also need to see your lease or purchase agreement. All individuals over 18 listed on the documentation, must be on the utility account. You can sign up for utilities in person at City Hall, 20 N. Main or you can fill out the application here or by clicking on the button above. If you complete the application online, please make sure you receive a confirmation email. If you do not, follow up by calling 435-734-6600.
A security deposit may be required on both residential and commercial accounts. The deposit for a residential account is normally $100 and a commercial account is normally $500. However, if anyone on the new account has had an account go to collections with us in the past, the deposit will be increased. The deposit will be refunded to your account if you pay your bill on time for 12 consecutive months, or it will be applied to your final bill when you move. If you move from one property to another, the deposit will be transferred to your new account. In some cases, deposits can be waived with a letter of good credit from a previous utility company. This letter can be faxed to us at (435) 723-8132.
